Attribute Set
Introduction
Different attributes created in the system can be mapped to an attribute group to create an Attribute Set. This Attribute Set can then be linked to the SKUs from ‘SKU Master’ module, for better classification and identification of the SKUs.
Ex: an attribute set by the name ‘Mobile’ can be created and attributes related to mobile phone specifications such as RAM, Storage, Warranty, etc. can be added to that set.
Navigation: Master >> SKU Management >> Attribute Set
Attribute Set Screen
On the Attribute Set screen, the following are the fields based on which the Attribute Sets can be searched:
Fields | Field Description |
Attribute Set Code | This is a system generated code, used to identify the Attribute set. (non-searchable field) |
Attribute Set Description | This is a user defined field, used to describe the Attribute set. |
Ext Attribute Set Code | This is a non-mandatory, user defined field to set Attribute code. |
Is Active | This is used to mark the set as Active or Inactive in the system. |
The Attribute Set screen has 2 tabs –
- Attribute Sets
- Attribute Mapping
‘Attribute Sets’ tab
This tab displays basic information about all the Attribute sets currently present in the system. The user can view/edit any of the Attribute set by clicking on it.
‘Attribute Mapping’ tab
This tab can be accessed by two ways,
- By clicking on any of the existing Attribute set – to view/edit the details.
- By clicking on the Add New button – to create a new Attribute Set.
Attribute Mapping tab has 2 sections,
- UnAssigned Attribute – This section displays the list of all the Attributes created in the system via “Manage Attribute” module, that are currently in Active status.
- Assigned Groups or Groups – This section displays the Groups in which the UnAssigned Attributes will be mapped. The user has the option to “Add Group” or “Remove Selected Group”.
For mapping the attributes to a group, the user first needs to select the required attribute from the UnAssigned Attributes section and then select the group from the Assigned Group section. After the selection is complete the user needs to click on the ‘Add’ button to complete the mapping. Similarly, the ‘Remove’ button is used to remove a mapping.
