Store Group
Introduction
Store Group is the functionality in eRetail where the user has an option to group multiple locations as per the business needs and can use this group for further business processing.
The store group can enable the user to add multiple types of locations like a Warehouse, Franchise or a store to a single group which can be identified with a unique system generated group number. This group can then be used for further processing as per the user requirements.
Generally, these store groups that are created in the system can be used in the Order Management System with the OMS rules where the user can group locations in a specific region and the rules can be applied to the orders belonging to a particular group. For example, a group can contain locations that belong to a particular region and the order routing rule inder same region can be applied to that order containing locations in that group.
Following are the steps to create a Store Group in the system –
